July 22 (4:00-6:00pm ET): Setting-Up an LLC / Starting Your Own Business

Time: 4:00 – 6:00pm ET

Description: These virtual drop-in sessions will focus on topics related to starting your own business as an arts entrepreneur, and can cover items such as the pros and cons of setting up an LLC or other forms of business entity registrations, information about general tax implications, etc. This will be an opportunity to discuss questions about business privately with management consultants and financial services professionals (volunteers) that work in the corporate world.

Note that these discussions are informal and generic in nature and should not be regarded as a substitute for professional tax and any other service on behalf of Ernst and Young.

*PLEASE NOTE: These one-on-one drop-in sessions will last for 25 minutes each during the 4:00-6:00pm timeframe, and will be selected at random via a lottery system. Lottery winners will be notified by NYCAIER staff one week prior to their drop-in sessions and must confirm attendance, otherwise their slot will be given to another registrant.

Must register by July 15!
