A process drama uses interactive theater to immerse students in a story, problem, and often role-work. In these series of professional development videos and guides, educators will learn to brainstorm and practice process dramas for their classrooms.

Musical Storytelling with Thierry Rémion
Through Word Painting, students will retell a short story in music. With rhythm & melody to express imagery, they will translate that story from one medium (ELA) to another (music). This activity is open-ended as the music created can be translated into other mediums: dance, puppetry, painting, etc.

Dance Jam Toolbox – The Art of Negotiation / Lessons in Teamwork and Storytelling with Lane Gifford
The beauty of dance is the universality of its language and in this regard my mini-lessons provide lessons in social adaptation and negotiation. The through line is “negotiation” (build, better, together) with one subject per lesson: harmony, balance, connection, togetherness, and cooperation.
