The 2022-2023 school year marked the inaugural year of the equity-rooted Support for Arts Instruction Initiative, funded by the New York City Council, and administered by NYC Arts in Education Roundtable in partnership with NYC Public Schools’ ARTS Office. This report outlines the impact of this first-of-its-kind $3 million citywide initiative in support standards-based arts instruction programs for public school students.
