About Susan Rowe Harrison
Susan Rowe Harrison has over 20 years of experience teaching art workshops for diverse students in museums and schools in the US, Canada, and England, such as the Whitney Museum, DIA Chelsea, Wave Hill, the Whitechapel Art Gallery, NYC Public Schools, and the Toronto District School Board, Arts Westchester, Hoff-Barthelson Music School, Clearview School, and the Hudson River Community Education Program. Students range in age from kindergarten to grade 12, teachers, seniors, and life-long learners.
Her approach to teaching is choice-based and responsive. She tries to balance students’ creative skills and abilities with more abstract creative challenges to build innovative and critical thinking.
