Yes, we will have a designated charging station in the breakout rooms
Yes, we will have a selection of vegetarian, gluten-free, and Passover friendly foods; however, if you have specific dietary restrictions you should consider bringing your own lunch.
The registration tables are located just inside the entrance to Shepard Hall. You must check-in upon arrival on both days of the conference before you head to the Great Hall or a breakout session. If you have not pre-registered for the conference you may do so upon arrival.
While pre-registration is used as an important guide for the conference organizers regarding room assignments you are not required to attend the session for which you pre-registred.

Yes. There is a dedicated table at check-in for those who have not registered. You may pay with a credit card or a check made out to the NYC Arts in Education Roundtable. We will not accept cash.

I’m only able to attend one day of the conference. Am I eligible for a reduced rate or can someone else come in my place on the day I can’t attend?
No. There are no shared registrations or single-day rates available. This applies to members of pre-registered groups as well. An attendee who was not initially pre-registered as part of a group may not substitute into a group after the pre-registration deadline or at the conference
Face to Face 2019 early bird registration opens in early March. Regular registration opens in early April. Pre-conference registration is strongly advised – rates increase significantly for walk-up registration.

Shepard Hall is located at 160 Convent Avenue, near 138th Street and Convent Avenue. The closest subways are the 1, A,C,D trains. The M101 bus stops very close to the conference location on Amsterdam Avenue. Click here for full directions and accommodation suggestions. Note – if you are going via the A or C trains, go to 145th street and not 125th Street unless you are planning to take a bus

The most easily accessible train stops to the City College of New York (CCNY) are the 137th Street – City College stop on the 1 Train (Red Line), or the 145th Street stop on the A,B,C,D Train (Blue/Orange Lines).
1 Train (Red Line):
- Take 1 Train to 137th Street – City College Station
- Exit train at 137th Street – City College Station
- Walk East on 138th Street
- Turn left onto Hamilton Place
- Turn right onto W 140th
- Turn right onto Convent Ave
A,B,C,D Trains (Blue/Orange Lines):
- Take A,B,C, or D Train to 145th Street
- Exit train at 145th Street Station
- Walk one block west on 145th Street to Convent Avenue
- Turn left onto Convent Avenue
Take the M-4 or M-5 to Broadway and 137th Street. Walk up 138th Street three blocks to Convent Avenue.
Take the M-100 or M-101 to Amsterdam Avenue and 138th, walk east one block to Convent Avenue.
Take the M-101 to 135th and Amsterdam Avenue and walk north to 138th Street, then east one block to Convent Avenue.
Take the BX-19 to 145th and Convent Avenue, walk south on Convent Avenue to 138th Street.
From the West Side Highway: Exit at 125th Street.Cross Broadway and turn left onto Amsterdam Avenue.The College is at 138th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
From the East Side: Take the FDR or the Triborough Bridge to Harlem River Drive.Exit at 135th Street. Continue to St. Nicholas Avenue and turn right, then left onto 141st Street.Turn left onto Convent Avenue.The campus begins at 140th Street and Convent Avenue.
The main campus drop off point for Access-A-Ride is 160 Convent Avenue New York, NY 10031, centrally located between the Administration Building and the North Academic Center. The drop off point for Shepard Hall is 259 Convent Avenue.
Yes, A Breast-Pumping Station will be available throughout the conference. Room TBD.
