The Roundtable would like to acknowledge that we work and live on unceded lands. Manahatta, or the place that is widely known as New York City, exists on the contemporary and ancestral homelands of the Canarsie, Munsee Lenape, and Wappinger people.
The Roundtable office is located at New York Live Arts, which exists on Lenapehoking – the land and waters of the Lenape homeland.
These Sovereign Nations and communities are still thriving here, and we continue to occupy their lands. We acknowledge and offer deep gratitude to them, as well as to the Black and immigrant communities which have helped build the city we know today, understanding that all of our pasts, presents, and futures are intertwined.
