Join our mission!
At Zeta, we are building high-performing, next generation schools with an innovative, whole-child approach, preparing for true participation and leadership in a modern-world economy. We start with a foundation of world class academics. Our complementary social-emotional mindfulness program emboldens our students with the skills to thrive inside and outside the classroom. We insist that every child receives a world-class education while fostering a love for learning. We are changing the public education landscape for all of New York City’s children, and we are uncompromising in our mission.
To achieve our vision, we are searching for specialist teachers with a Bachelor’s degree, at least 1-2 years of teaching experience, and mastery of one of our specialist programs: Taekwondo, Music, Sports, Chess, Dance, or Art.
Deliver incredible results!
As a Specialist Teacher at Zeta, you will develop and execute a vision of excellence in your specialty area, working with leaders and teammates to craft the curriculum. At Zeta, we execute our specialty programming with the same level of dedication to excellence, joy, and continuous improvement that we have for our academic programming. Specialty activities are the mechanism for children to come to know and challenge themselves. Through specialty activities, children express their sense of self long before they can articulate this sense with words. It is where work is play, where children are willing to put in more work than they might otherwise in pursuit of their goals and of excellence.
Your passion for innovation in the classroom will enhance the life trajectories of your students and launch them towards their most powerful and fulfilling lives.
At Zeta, you will receive constant support and professional development while working with a world-class team. Every week, school teams dedicate time to engage in professional development workshops and mindfulness routines. Throughout the school day, Zeta maintains an open door policy, where both teachers and school leaders exchange feedback.
Successful teachers are encouraged to step up into leadership roles. As a rapidly growing organization, we are always looking to promote from within, and we provide ample training and support to ensure the next generation of Zeta leaders are well equipped for the task. We provide a competitive compensation and benefits package that places a premium on the needs of you and your family. Zeta also provides top-of-the-line technology and classroom resources.
Bring your whole self!
We want team members who are passionate about our mission, vision, and core values. You will make a tremendous team member at Zeta if you bring a mindset of growth, flexibility, and openness to feedback. You are hungry and determined to not only meet your goals, but surpass them at all costs. You are highly skilled at effectively communicating with your team members, both in good times and bad. You are humble, willing to put the team’s needs ahead of your own, and committed to contributing to a collaborative work environment. You want to have a voice in how we transform the landscape of education.
We want lifelong learners who live with child-like joy and passion. At Zeta, we need you to bring your passion for learning, disrupting the status quo, and tackling problems with creative solutions.
