Website: https://thenewgroup.org/job/bfa-acting-program-instructors/

The New Group is seeking theater faculty for their undergraduate-level acting studio courses as part of Long Island University (LIU) Brooklyn’s BFA in Acting for Theatre, Film and Television. Courses include Voice and SpeechMovement, and Acting for second and third year BFA students, through our collaboration with the university.

The commitment would be a weekly 1 or 2-hour class, for either the Fall 2021 or Spring 2022 semesters. Classes may be held on the LIU Brooklyn campus in downtown Brooklyn or in midtown Manhattan. Applicants should have experience leading undergraduate or graduate courses in the side of the discipline for which they are applying. Positions begin at $100/hour.

To apply, email your cover letter and resume (with “Teaching Positions” in the subject line) to jobs@thenewgroup.org describing your interest, background and qualifications, and attach a teaching resume or CV. Please highlight any undergraduate-level teaching experience and specify your teaching interests and your availability during the 2021-22 academic year.

The New Group is an E.O.E. and BIPOC, immigrants, veterans, disabled, transgender and gender non-conforming individuals are encouraged to apply.
