As a recognized vendor for NYC Public Schools, we offer a comprehensive range of services, including wellness consulting, social-emotional learning (SEL) programs, college access guidance, study skills development, hygiene education, mental health support, and engaging workshops for parents and communities. Poetic Black Gurl (PBG) is looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Workshop Facilitators and Event Support Specialists. In this role, you’ll lead fun and engaging workshops while also helping with the setup and smooth running of events. If you enjoy working with people, are flexible, and are passionate about education and community support, this job is for you!

Workshop Facilitation:

• Lead interactive workshops for participants of all ages, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Prepare and deliver engaging content that meets the needs of the group.
• Manage groups effectively to ensure participation and respect.
• Support participants during workshops to help them get the most out of the experience.

Event Support:

• Assist with planning and preparing for workshops and events, including setting up materials and equipment.
• Help ensure events run smoothly by troubleshooting any issues on-site.
• Welcome participants and create a friendly, supportive atmosphere.
• Wrap up events by collecting feedback, packing up materials, and debriefing with the team.
