NYC Kidsfest mission is to spark the imagination and empower young people through the arts.

On Saturday July 27th, NYC Kidsfest (www.nyckidsfest.org) will take part in Disability Pride (part of a larger event on Frederick Douglass Blvd between W. 112th and W. 117th This event is part of Disability Pride month which honors the disability community history, achievements, experience and struggles. https://www.nyc.gov/site/mopd/events/disability-pride-parade.page

Job Position Summary

We are looking for a Teaching Artist to do an arts activity with children at Disability Pride day from 12-4pm .

Must be a simple activity that is suitable for children of varying abilities (slime, torn paper, etc) We are open to your ideas. Great if you have experience working with kids that have disabilities but not required.

Roles & Responsibilities

Help children of varying disabilities create a simple visual art project that they can take home.
