About Our Organization

Foster Pride empowers youth in foster care and from underserved communities in New York City to develop their talents, and build self-esteem to reach their potential through mentoring relationships and the arts. Since 1993 over 15,000 youth have participated in art classes, job-preparedness activities, financial literacy workshops, internship and college scholarship programs and more, that spark creativity, academic learning, and help provide the resources these youth need to become successful, independent adults.

Job Position Summary

FOSTER PRIDE, an award-winning NYC non-profit which empowers youth in foster care and from underserved communities through mentorships and the arts, is looking for a new art instructor. Do you paint? Draw? Sculpt? Are you crafty?Do you have experience working with underserved youth and the all abilities community? If so, you may be our next part-time art teacher! Classes are 90 minutes/$150 per class currently looking for our North Bronx location. If interested, please send a cover letter and resume to zoe@fosterpride.org.
