We are specifically in need of teaching artists who have technical theatre skills and/or are willing to travel to Staten Island.
Roundabout Theatre Company Teaching Artists develop curriculum and facilitate sessions for various populations including students in grades 6–12, educators, families, audiences, and other groups.
Work is primarily distributed through in-school residencies, on-site workshops, community spaces, and audience engagement events. Programming occurs across NYC’s 5 boroughs. Roundabout Teaching Artists sometimes teach their craft, but more frequently use their craft as a vehicle to teach leadership skills, develop social emotional competencies, build community, or connect to the content of another academic subject.
