About Our Organization

Job Position Summary

Looking for a reliable, kind and honest, non-smoking sewer: student, early career or retired person.

This person will cut various shapes from cotton jersey and sew these shapes on the front of a few cotton jersey tanks and tees.

THE SEWER:
Will meet me in person, at a public library or other public location in Manhattan to review the project and pick up the materials. The sewer will cut and sew at their location with their machine. When the project is completed, we will meet again in person.

PAYMENT:
$25-100 per project.

ALL MATERIALS and DESIGNS PROVIDED:

  • Fabric
  • Thread
  • Shirts
  • Markers (Paper patterns of the design, pinned to the shirt)
  • Photos/Samples of completed tees, to use as reference

Job Qualifications:
Excellent cutting, pinning, sewing and communication skills.
