Job Position Summary

The Safety Monitors will be responsible for monitoring and escorting students on campus at Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts.

  • Safety Monitors in an outdoor camp environment and are expected to communicate with students and other staff effectively.
  • Safety Monitors will be friendly, outgoing, lovers of the arts, who are focused on growing and learning.
  • Work enthusiastically with children, be flexible and be able to follow directions.
  • Must be authentic, reliable, respectful, thoughtful, and organized.
  • Safety Monitors will be self-starters as well as collaborators.
  • Safety Monitors must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate well with students, staff, peers, nurses and parents and react quickly in safety sensitive situations, while respecting confidentiality and privacy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
