CO_LAB Theater Group is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Creative Opportunities without Limits And Boundaries. CO_LAB offers individuals with developmental disabilities a creative and social outlet through theater arts. Through our programming, we encourage actors to collaborate as an ensemble and discover their individual voices. CO_LAB creates a safe, judgment-free, and neuro-diverse environment that allows participants the opportunity to express themselves both in class and on stage. We seek to honor and celebrate every individual. CO_LAB aims to offer financially accessible programs to all.
Job Position Summary
CO_LAB Theater Group seeks a Program Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of CO_LAB’s programs, with a specific focus on CO_LAB Core, our weekly free classes held in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and CO_LAB Leaders, our program in which seasoned CO_LAB actors develop leadership skills through paid opportunities to work alongside administrative staff, as mentors in youth classes, and by providing strategic guidance to the organization.
The Programs Manager role requires a collaborative and highly organized leader with a passion for inclusive producing, arts education, disability equity, and community-building. An ideal candidate will have experience managing arts programs, relationship management, and fostering meaningful connections with participants, though the avenue you take to those ideals can vary! Maybe you’re currently a teaching artist, or an arts administrator, or a disability advocate. If you are interested in the intersection between arts and disability equity, we want to hear from you!
