Job Position Summary
The Program Coordinator supports the Director and Associate Director in all programming aspects of the 92NY’s Center for Arts Learning and Leadership (CALL), which creates dynamic arts education programs for K-12 students and teachers in a range of arts disciplines, including music, dance, literature and visual art and design. The Program Coordinator is responsible for a range of administrative and coordinative duties, including supporting CALL’s cohort of Teaching Artists in residence with schools across New York City and beyond (through our virtual education initiatives); liaising with personnel at collaborating schools; facilitating school-based and online workshops; assisting in new school recruitment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities Include
- Supports the Director and Associate Director in the planning and implementation of all aspects of department programs.
- Supports cohort of Teaching Artists and coordinates their teaching schedules for school-based programs.
- Communicates regularly with teachers and school personnel in CALL programs across 50+ schools.
- Assists with evaluation of CALL programs by conducting school-based observations of Teaching Artists, developing and disseminating post-event surveys to school personnel, organizing focus groups, and conducting regular check-ins with school personnel.
- Supports Teaching Artists in their completion of curriculum plans for school residencies.
- Assists with logistical and production arrangements for workshops and performances.
- Assist with the submission and tracking of program expenses and maintain database, records, correspondence, evaluations and files.
- Process bi-weekly payroll and record payments for invoices associated with school-based programs.
- Assists with new-school recruitment, including managing communications with new school prospects, responding to enquiries and onboarding new schools.
- Additional related duties may be assigned as required.
Experience, Education, & Skills Desired
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Education, or a related field.
- 2 years’ experience working in an arts administration setting.
- Familiarity with a range of art forms including music, dance and visual arts.
- Understanding of and familiarity with NYC Department of Education internal systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with diplomacy and clarity
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with program stakeholders
- Possess strong time management and prioritization skills
- Possess problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail and strong record-keeping ability
- Skill in using personal computers and a variety of software applications, including Zoom and Google Meet
- Proficiency in Spanish desirable.
Work Environment & Requirements
40 hours; 9am – 6pm with a one-hour unpaid meal break

COMPENSATION RANGE
$45,000 – $55,000
The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
