Job Position Summary
The Program Coordinator for Arts Education plays a vital role in managing and coordinating the daily operations of Project Ole. They are the main liaison between our K-12 school partners and the Company’s Teaching Artists. The goal of Project Ole is to provide life-changing educational experiences to students of all abilities, while inspiring diverse populations to become lifelong supporters of the arts. This temporary role is structured to provide coverage for our Program Manager for Arts Education during maternity leave.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage partnerships with schools and CBOs that serve students in the NYC and tri-state area.
- Create and manage Arts ed schedules, clearly communicating schedules to TAs and school partners, and keeping the company’s Google Calendar up to date.
- Create and process scope of work documentation for each program (LOA’s, contracts, purchase orders, etc)
- Track artist fees for payroll processing.
- Manage database of audience attendance and contracts for Arts Ed.
- Create and maintain Arts Ed budgets for each school.
- Provide necessary documents to our partners (curricular materials, waivers, rosters, and letters to parents) and
maintain documents necessary for Flamenco Vivo’s records in an organized fashion. - Comply with DOE requirements and track payments. This includes fingerprinting, PETS, POs, invoices, rosters.
Timeline:
- Oct-Jan: Average of 10 hours/week training under the Program Manager for Arts Education ($20-$25/hour)
- Feb-Apr: The position shifts to full time to provide coverage for the Program Manager for Arts Education during maternity leave ($3,600-$4,000/month)
