MakeInspires is looking for a full-time educator and team leader to join our team as NYC Makerspace Manager. We are looking for someone who is passionate about STEAM education and has an interest in working with children. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching STEAM, as well as a strong passion for the subject of education.

• Create and implement appropriate assessment plans
• Establish and maintain a positive Makerspace environment
• Maintain a clean, organized Makerspace
• Provide students with a high level of attention and engagingly teach material in a manner that engages students’ curiosity and encourages them to learn
• Collaborate with other educators in areas such as field trips, parent communication, etc.
• Communicate with parents regularly to maintain positive relationships with the students’ families
