Job Position Summary

Literary Artist needed for workshop at the library

DOROT Westchester is seeking Literary Artists to lead sessions at the Wills Library in Yonkers on Wednesdays at 11:00 AM on 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, & 5/24 for 1 hour. An artist can do one or multiple sessions.

The pay is $200 per session.

The program is open to older adults over 60.

The teaching artist would share 15-20 minutes of poetry or storytelling. Then lead the participants in interactive activities to create a group poem or work in pairs to engage in storytelling.

Candidates must have experience working with older adults.

All supplies will be provided.
