DOROT alleviates social isolation among the elderly and provides services to help them live independently as valued members of the community. It brings the generations together in a mutually beneficial partnership of elders, volunteers, and professionals.

Job Position Summary

DOROT Westchester is seeking a Knitting teacher for Sunday, 4/23 1:30-3pm.

This is a chance to work with High School volunteers and adults over 60. 22 teens and older adults are participating in an intergenerational program that meets monthly, and the members would like to learn the basics of knitting.

Must have experience working with older adults.

Must have experience teaching people how to knit.

All supplies will be provided.

The workshop will be held in New Rochelle, at 1324 North Avenue.
