Job Position Summary

Theatre for a New Audience, which operates the largest in-depth program in the New York City Public Schools to introduce Shakespeare and classic drama, seeks an Education Associate.  Reporting to the Education Director, the Education Associate supports the programming and administration of the Theatre’s arts education programs in Shakespeare and playwrighting for NYC Public Schools and teachers.    The Theatre seeks a well-organized individual with office and administrative experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to arts education.

Qualifications:   BA degree or equivalent work experience; office and administrative experience, including Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of the plays of Shakespeare; superior written and verbal communication skills; background in arts education a plus.   For a detailed list of responsibilities full position description, please see: https://www.tfana.org/about/workwithus/educationassociate

Compensation:

Salary mid-to-high 30s.  Benefits include medical, Life and long-term disability insurance, paid time off, and voluntary pre-tax programs for retirement (403[b]), Transit and FSA.
