Lincoln Center Theater has produced over 200 plays and musicals at the Vivian Beaumont, Mitzi E. Newhouse, and Claire Tow Theaters at Lincoln Center and other theaters on and off-Broadway, as well as touring productions nationally and around the world. Job Position Summary

LCT’s Education Department is seeking a skilled arts administrator for a 40-hour per week position for the 2023-2024 school year.  The Education Assistant reports to the Associate Director of Education and provides support for the operations of Lincoln Center Theater’s Education Department.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate communications with teachers and teaching artists;
  • Administrative onboarding of teaching artists with LCT’s Human Resources Department;
  • Track teaching artist schedules and process payroll;
  • Manage workshop materials for school programs;
  • Provide support for the creation of Education Department websites;
  • Support on-site and remote professional development workshops for teachers and teaching artists;
  • Coordinate Education Department teaching artist residency assignments and confirmations;
  • Maintain inventory of Education Department supplies, props, and costumes;
  • Track and process departmental expenses;
  • Provide technical support for teaching artists when needed;
  • Assemble and collect assessment paperwork and process assessment data for all programs;
  • Coordinate billing for paid services;
  • Assist with archive of Education Department resources;
  • Support Education Department communications through reating a quarterly newsletter, and the development of video materials and social media posts;
  • Manage artist schedules and logistics for community partnerships;
  • Provide administrative support for special projects, when applicable.
