Job Position Summary

Roundabout Theatre Company, one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit theatres, seeks an energetic, personable individual to join the company as the Curriculum Resource Manager.

Reporting to the Director of Teaching and Learning, the Curriculum Resource Manager will collaborate closely with the entire education department to create and manage all digital assets for our Education & Community Partnerships programs. This is a permanent full-time position in our midtown office.

Roles & Responsibilities

This is some of what the Curriculum Resource Manager will do:

  • Curriculum Asset Production – develop curriculum content in various forms including document templates, videos, web-based formats, etc. for all Education & Community Partnerships programs in collaboration with Education staff.
  • Work collaboratively with interdepartmental colleagues (Artistic, Archives, Marketing, Production, etc.) to design and publish resources.
  • Manage Education Resource Development Teams and support the creation of show specific Curricular resources for teaching artists to use in classrooms and at the theatre.
  • Manage the creation and publishing of the Upstage Playgoers Guides, including: conferring and advising on content of guides; reviewing and editing content (in particular, curriculum/thematic content); and conferring on visual content.
  • Collaborate with department staff to arrange artist and expert interviews for various curricular resources.
  • Facilitate trainings and events to introduce content of plays and curriculum and content/strategies for classroom implementation.
  • Share resources interdepartmentally to benefit the larger organization.

Location and Hours
Roundabout’s Education Offices are located on the 3rd Floor of the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. An elevator is available for the majority of the time, however, there are times that the elevator is not available. The department is temporarily relocated to Roundabout’s Rehearsal Hall, located at 115 West 45th Street, 11th Floor (elevators are available to access the floor).

General schedule is Monday-Friday 10am – 6pm with some weekend and evening hours required.
