Location: Brooklyn Arts Council’s office is in DUMBO, Brooklyn. While the staff is currently working remotely, we are in transition to an in-person and remote work schedule as health and safety guidance allows. Staff members work in the field as necessary.

Job Position Summary

The Arts in Education Administrative Assistant is a detail-oriented individual who will provide administrative, clerical, and office support activities to facilitate efficient delivery of educational residency services. They will be responsible for the tracking, analysis, and data entry of residency, curriculum, and evaluation forms. Additional responsibilities include file management and program support in collaboration with the Arts in Education team.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Reporting/Metrics/Administration
    • Project management support including monitoring team’s workflow progress through Asana
    • Entering regular statistics into the organization-wide metrics dashboard
    • Data entry of residency information into Salesforce and other tracking documents
    • Reporting out of Salesforce for a variety of team and organization needs
  • Partner Outreach and Teaching Artist Communication
    • Support Teaching Artist onboarding process
    • Administrative communication with 60+ Teaching Artists and 50+ community partners
  • Amplification
    • Support Arts in Education Program Manager on content development and newsletter material
