Encourage participants to experiment, question the status quo, and embrace failure as part of the creative journey.

Performance & Exhibition Support: Help youth prepare for performances, showcases, and exhibitions, coaching them through the process of presenting their work in public spaces. Support them in developing the confidence and skills needed to share their vision with the world.

Critical Reflection & Feedback: Foster an environment where critical feedback is embraced as a tool for growth. Provide constructive feedback on participant projects, encouraging continuous learning, refinement, and artistic evolution.

Collaboration & Cross-Disciplinary Work: Encourage and facilitate collaboration between youth participants, guiding them in co-creating projects that blend multiple art forms and perspectives. Foster a collaborative creative culture that reflects Dorill’s commitment to inclusivity and innovation.

Trauma-Informed Coaching: Use trauma-informed practices to ensure that all coaching interactions are safe, supportive, and empathetic. Understand the challenges that marginalized youth may face and integrate sensitivity and care into all mentorship efforts.

Leadership Development through Art: Empower youth to take ownership of their artistic vision and projects, encouraging them to see themselves as leaders and change-makers through their creative work. Support participants in understanding how their art can drive social change and impact their communities.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Track participant progress and outcomes, using data and feedback to continuously refine coaching methods and artistic programs. Use creative assessment tools to measure growth in artistic skill, innovation, and personal development.
