Job Position Summary

Position
LEAP is looking for a seasoned teaching artist for an onsite, innovative limited Saturday intergenerational program for entrepreneurs. Candidates will have both creative and business experience. Hiring is immediate.
Location
A Manhattan Cornerstone Program at a New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) site.
Goal
To help seniors and youth start or expand their own business from both a creative and business perspective. This ranges from T-shirts to home catering.
Time Commitment
Five consecutive Saturdays starting January 2022 – Jan. 8, Jan. 15, Jan. 22. Jan. 29 and Feb. 5.
Hours: 11:00 am to 1:15 pm.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

Qualifications:
. Creative and business background.
. Demonstrated intergenerational teaching experience.
. Proven branding, marketing and social media experience.
. Basic experience writing business and marketing plans.
. Working experience with fundamentals of  start-up finance.
. Ability to design and implement a workshop curriculum.
