The NYC Arts in Education Roundtable is thrilled to welcome Dominic back to help Teaching Artists navigate tax season. He will share general tax advice and take time to address specific questions from registrants as we tackle yet another unique tax season. Topics during this session will include:

  • Recent changes to the federal tax code
  • Specific pitfalls to watch out for as freelancers
  • How unemployment benefits correlate with your taxes
  • Exemptions
  • Deductions, especially those that pertain to teaching from home
  • W4 and W2 forms
  • Independent contractor income
  • Record-keeping
  • Audits, and more!
