The NYC Arts in Education Roundtable invites you to join Paul King, Executive Director for the New York City Department of Education’s Office of Arts & Special Projects alongside Peter Avery (Director of Theater), Ana Nery Fragoso (Director of Dance), Robert Lamont (Music Facilitator), and Karen Rosner (Visual Arts Coordinator) for a discussion and training session on the New York State P-12 Learning Standards for the Arts.

This session will provide an opportunity for discipline-specific breakout groups to discuss how the standards for the arts impact what we do as educators, teaching artists, and/or administrators. This event will be on Tuesday, November 13th from 4-6 p.m. Please save the date and make plans to join us for what promises to be an informative event.
