The New York City Arts in Education Roundtable is working with a number of individual management consultants and financial services professionals to support arts entrepreneurs (including Teaching Artists) as they navigate recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.

We invite our community members to join us for the following events:

1. An open virtual Mindfulness session on July 15 from 4:00pm to 5:15pm ET.

  • This session is free and open to all! It will be led by experienced facilitators to share Mindfulness techniques and best practices, as well as discuss critical factors (including those arising from the pandemic) that are affecting the well-being and productivity of arts entrepreneurs.

2. A series of 30-minute, one-on-one virtual drop-in sessions on July 22, 29 and August 5 between 4:00 – 6:00pm ET.

  • These one-on-one drop-in sessions will give individual teaching artists, arts entrepreneurs and professionals in the cultural and creative industries an opportunity to discuss questions about their personal business issues privately with volunteer management consultants and financial services professionals that work in the corporate world.
  • Information on specific topics for these drop-in sessions can be found in the schedule drop-downs below.
  • There are a limited number of drop-in sessions available for each topic. If you are interested in a one-on-one session, please register below to be entered into a lottery for one of the four sessions for each topic.
  • Please note: winners of each lottery will be notified at least one week prior to the session, and their time slot will be assigned at that time.

This is an impactful opportunity for individual corporate volunteers to support creative professionals who are all critical to the arts, education and entrepreneurial ecosystem. We hope that these events can make a small but positive social impact for arts entrepreneurs as the economy recovers from the pandemic.
