In this two-hour workshop, participants will experience being in a music classroom while learning classroom management techniques such as brain breaks, transitions, and call and response. After a short sample class, we will break down the techniques used and expand our thinking as it comes to our own classrooms. We will then split into groups for some deeper discussion, activities, and processing around what makes good classroom management. While the techniques and activities used in this workshop are music-based, these strategies can be used in any arts classroom.
Due to space limitations, this event will be capped at 30 participants. Reserve your spot today!
