This Roundtable Membership Gathering will be hosted by our Taskforce on Equity and Inclusion and will serve as an opportunity for us to connect, catch up, and get your feedback on how the Roundtable can best support you and your work. Plus, the first 75 single-scoops are on the Roundtable and a vegan/non-dairy option will be available!

Registration is encouraged but not required. You can help give us a head count or just drop by day of to meet up with our community.

About Sugar Hill Creamery

Sugar Hill Creamery is a love affair between community and food. Dedicated to local collaborations and the best ingredients, they serve handmade, small batch ice cream and non-dairy frozen desserts, with both seasonal and classic flavors available year around. Many of the available flavors are inspired by our Caribbean and Midwestern cultures, as well as Harlem, our neighborhood of more than 15 years.

The shop was an idea brought upon by the ‘sweet life’ that so many generations in Sugar Hill sought. As long time Harlem residents, co-owners Petrushka Bazin Larsen and Nick Larsen dreamt of this ‘sweet life’ while living on St. Nicholas Ave and 148th Street. For over a century, Sugar Hill and Harlem have set high bars. for artistry, literature, music and food in New York. Sugar Hill Creamery plans to keep the same standard and will continue to promote all that Harlem has and will continue to create.

Sugar Hill Creamery is located at 184 Malcolm X Blvd, New York, NY 10026 (between 119th & 120th St) and is easily accessible via the 2 and 3 lines as well as the M7 and M102 buses.

Accessibility

The NYC Arts in Education Roundtable is committed to providing opportunities for everyone to participate in our programming. While there are three steps from the street into the Creamery, we plan on an indoor/outdoor gathering and outdoor seating is wheelchair accessible. Staff members will be available to assist in placing ice cream orders from the outdoor seating area. We apologize for any inconvenience.
