The NYC Arts in Education Roundtable invites you to join David Lavin, Director of Spark Impact, for a practical discussion of the how and why of impact evaluation. We’ll help you identify which approach to impact evaluation or assessment will work best for you, based on the most common reasons for considering impact evaluation.

We’ll share pitfalls to avoid, and discuss the pros and cons of internal and external evaluations. You’ll come away with suggestions about what to look for in an evaluator, practical recommendations for how to build internal buy-in for evaluation, and guidance on using evaluation to help secure funding and resources. David will share examples from his own work, and invite participants to share their own experiences so we can learn from one another.

Space is limited to 30 attendees. In the case that the event sells out, interested attendees may continue to register and will be added to a waitlist pending availability.

Please note: To access the studio, participants will need to go up two short flights of stairs. The venue has a chair at the middle landing for anyone who might benefit from a break. We apologize for any inconvenience.
