Celebrate 2020 with the Early Career Professionals Meet-Up group hosted by the NYC Arts in Education Roundtable and Community-Word Project! This Early Career Professionals Meet-Up is aimed toward individuals who are in the first steps of their career (Arts Administrators and Teaching Artists who have been in the field 5 years or less).

Join us at Fulton Hall’s Happy Hour to chat about our professional journeys, career goals, and other interesting topics related (and unrelated!) to the arts-in-education field. Start the new year off by meeting with other arts education professionals and begin to create a peer group who can be a resource and support as you navigate your career path.

Please note that the cost of food/drinks at the meet-up will be the responsibility of the participants. Fulton Hall’s Happy Hour special runs through 7pm.

This event is free and open to all.

Continue the conversation online — join the NYC Arts in Education Roundtable’s Early-Career Professionals Facebook group!

Community-Word Project and their incredible Teaching Artist Training programs

  • Teaching Artist Training: Rigorous training and mentoring prepares artists to achieve academic and curricular goals while drawing upon their professional passion.
  • Collaborative Arts Residencies: Multi-disciplinary, arts-integrated curriculum provides alternative learning strategies for writing and creative expression.
  • Professional Development: Purposeful collaboration with teachers and administrators improves arts pedagogy and enhances curricular outcomes.
