For Theater Administrators and Teaching Artists
Attendees will be joined by Maria Palma, Executive Director of the Office of Arts and Special Projects and Russell Granet, President & CEO of New 42, for an overview of the DOE’s proposed arts education strategic plan followed by an opportunity for all to respond and contribute in small group feedback sessions.
UPDATE: Peter Avery, Director of Theater for the New York City Department of Education, was originally scheduled to attend this event but is no longer available.
All registrants will receive a copy of the proposed DOE strategic plan to review in advance of the discussion.
Registration is first come, first served. Space is limited. Tickets are non-transferable and admit one per ticket.

COVID Vaccine/Mask Policy:
All attendees must be fully vaccinated. Full vaccination means you’ve received either a one-dose or two-dose COVID‑19 vaccine (approved by the FDA or WHO) and your final dose is at least 14 days before the event.
Accepted forms of proof: a physical vaccination card, unobstructed photo of your card or digital documentation (Excelsior Pass Plus, Docket, etc.), plus a matching government or school-issued ID, if over 18.
Masks are required for everyone and must be worn at all times, completely covering the nose and mouth.
All New Victory staff will be fully vaccinated and will wear masks at all times. Speakers will also be fully vaccinated and will wear masks except when on stage.
