How is culture created in a learning space?
Can exploring new practices in arts education fuel a resilient and joy-filled future?
Join facilitators Janet Onyenucheya and ChelseaDee Harrison for a six-session cohort learning adventure into culture-creation, skill sharing, and future-building.
Leaning into the wisdom of our experiences as arts educators, this cohort will investigate the implicit and explicit ways we center and celebrate the cultures of our learners, explore practical immediate-use strategies, and use our curiosity to name and build a sustainable future in learning spaces. Journey with us as we reconnect with our purpose as arts educators, celebrate the magic of what we do, and prepare to build a worthwhile future.
Program capacity has been set to a maximum of 40 participants for this cohort, allowing for increased peer exchange and a more individualized learning experience. Participants will be given a stipend of $150 for their time. To help us select participants for this learning community, we kindly ask that you complete a brief application by Monday, October 10, 2022 at 6:00pm ET. Participants will be selected and notified by Friday, October 21, 2022.
