Teaching Artist
Teaching Artist for NeON Arts Summer 2025 Program. Youth ages 16-24 attend 2 hour workshops 1x/week for 6 consecutive weeks. They are provided with Food and Metrocard for Travel by the NeON Arts program. Teaching artists dedicate 1.5 hours to teaching a skill to these youth.

Teaching Artist Fellowship
The 2025 inaugural Harmony Program Teaching Artist Fellowship is a highly selective, year-long engagement for emerging music educators interested in strengthening their teaching skills and expanding their professional networks and opportunities. In addition to a $1,500 honorarium, Fellows will receive over 20 hours of training from experts in the fields of music performance, education, youth development, and psychology as well as classroom teaching experience and access to professional networking.

The Art Department seeks a dynamic, energetic visionary with strong leadership skills who is an innovative thinker with the ability to effectively and creatively engage faculty, students, and staff in a collegial and collaborative manner. At Usdan, Chairs of Departments are responsible for the vision, direction, implementation, assessment and operations of their department. The Art Department serves students grades K-12 during an 8-week course of summer study, divided into two 4-week sessions. Teaching Artist (Spanish)
Arts Ignite is seeking Spanish-speaking Teaching Artists to lead 45-minute workshops at a partner site in the Bronx. Classes can cover a variety of topics including (but not limited to) visual arts, dance, theater, creative writing, and music. Arts Ignite Teaching Artists at this site must have experience teaching youth in Spanish, teaching in a school environment, and teaching art in culturally diverse classrooms. Workshops occur twice monthly on Fridays from 3:30-4:15 PM.
