Summer Rising 2022 – From the Department of Youth & Community Development

||

Summer Rising is back in 2022! This year’s program will serve 110,000 students across 380+ buildings throughout the five boroughs.

We know there may be schools and CBOs that are interested in and looking for arts and cultural partners for…

  • Workshops
  • Multi-Session Residencies
  • Field Trips

If you are interested in and have capacity to take on one or more of these programs, please complete the brief Google form linked below (no more than 2 minutes!) by June 1, 2022.

Per the DOE website, “Summer Rising programming will spark curiosity, joy, and a love of learning. Students will engage with peers and caring adults to experience all that our city has to offer. NYC DOE will continue to combine academic support and school-based enrichment programming led by Community Based Organizations (CBOs), and students will have daily opportunities to play, create, explore, and develop new interests. Summer Rising 2022 is a partnership between New York City’s Department of Education (DOE) and the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD).”

PLEASE NOTE: You do NOT need to be a vendor with the DOE to sub-contract with a CBO. Completion of this form does not guarantee work placement. We will be sharing this list of interested organizations with DYCD and CBOs on a rolling basis pending your permission in the form.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Kimberly Olsen, Executive Director at kolsen@nycaieroundtable.org.
