Nonprofit Preparedness Regarding Immigration Enforcement

VIRTUAL TRAINING & DISCUSSION

JANUARY 17, 2025, 1PM-2:30PM

The incoming presidential administration has promised increases in aggressive immigration enforcement, causing nonprofits and other service providers to question how to ensure that immigrant clients have access to their services.

New York Lawyers for the Public Interest (NYLPI) and Lawyers Alliance for New York, leaders in the nonprofit sector, have issued an updated Guidance to Nonprofits regarding Immigration Enforcement aimed at supporting the nonprofit community in protecting our most at-risk clients.

In partnership with the Human Services Council (HSC), we invite you to attend a training and discussion for nonprofit leaders on Nonprofit Preparedness regarding Immigration Enforcement from 1:00PM-2:30PM on January 17, 2025.

Our expert panel of attorneys and nonprofit leaders will review legal questions and scenarios, discuss practical considerations, and provide valuable insight on best practices. This training is designed for nonprofit executive directors, program managers, general counsels, advocacy leads, and others tasked with setting policy within their organizations.

Register here. Registered attendees will receive a link and more information upon registration.
