Amanda Adams-Louis (she/her) is a photographer, teaching artist and education consultant. A 3rd culture kid, she was born in the U.S. and raised between Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. Amanda’s education practice & pedagogy is informed by her experience living, learning and traveling abroad. She is a history educator, tour guide and program designer with the Village Society for Historic Preservation. In 2017 she founded and continues to facilitate CUE Art Foundation’s signature education program, Teen Collective. She has taught, developed and implemented art education workshops/programs for young people ages 10-25 with Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Casita Maria Center for Art Education, Creative Artworks, Eagle Academy for Young Men (Bronx), Educational Video Center, The MET, Museum of Art & Design, NYC Department of Transportation, United Photo Industries, Urban Arts Partnership, Queens Arts Council, YWCA. She earned her BFA in Photography from Pratt Institute and is a Studio Art alumna of the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program.
