DCA Commissioner Tom Finkelpearl has announced that Kathi Hughes, Assistant Commissioner of the DCA, is one of six recipients of this year’s Sloan Public Service Awards, administered by the Fund for the City of New York.
Known to many in our field as the leader of the cultural program funding area of the DCA, the award recognizes Kathi’s incredible commitment to the field, her exceptional skill, and tireless hard work.
Kathi’s contribution to the field was recognized by a NY Dance & Performance Award (THE BESSIES) honoring outstanding innovative achievement in dance and related performance in 2005, when she received a Susan E. Kennedy Award.
The Roundtable sends deep congratulations to Kathi Hughes for her work on behalf of the field and for helping all of us strive to do our best work.
