Carnegie Hall seeks a Coordinator, Artistic Planning & Operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: provide the General Manager and Director, Artistic Programming with general office support including telephone, mail, calendar, expense reports, travel arrangements, and office files; scheduling meetings for General Manager and departmental meetings; maintaining concert files; answering the general Artistic Programming line and addressing all issues, as appropriate; submitting applications for and tracking all guest artist visas; working with Artistic Administrator to coordinate visa needs; managing paperwork for General Manager’s signature; processing concert and departmental invoices; maintaining artist contacts and financial information; assisting Booking department with concert program entries to chronological concert database; and assisting with other departmental needs. Additional responsibilities include assisting with contract administration and financial reconciling. Bachelor’s degree required. Candidate must be highly organized and detailed-oriented, with excellent phone etiquette, previous use of Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and Outlook), and good writing skills. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to prioritize time and handle multiple projects in a time-sensitive work environment. Classical music background required, and some office experience within the performing arts preferred. Knowledge of non-immigrant visa procedures preferred but not required.
