About the Role of Community Manager

 For the right candidate, this will be a great opportunity to step into a growing company. The Super Awesome Community Manager is responsible for posting social media content and engaging with followers across all platforms and for all accounts.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Help by developing brand guidelines, tone and voice and general branding alignment
Schedule posts for all social channels in a timely manner
Learn and follow the tone and language of each individual account and adhere to those guidelines in their responses
Manually post Instagram Carousel posts and Instagram stories
Check social channels during the previously-agreed upon daily schedule
Engage new audiences by liking, commenting, retweeting and messaging
Follow relevant hashtags, search and engage
Respond to questions in all forms of communication that come in and act as a steward of customer service on behalf of the brand including DM’s, emails, messages and tweets and communicate requests to account team
Work with Account Manager to create a FAQ that will go on website and available for social purposes
Be available at evenings and weekends to engage

 JOB REQUIREMENTS 

A deep interest in where content and social media can change the game
A deep interest in growing fandoms and how they work
A deep care for culture change in entertainment
Must be able to problem solve on the fly
Must be able to quickly adapt to changes in projects and client goals
Must have excellent time management skills and have the ability to prioritize
Must be comfortable with working in a deadline driven, fast paced environment
Must have the ability to work nights and weekends when necessary
Be a great communicator
Be extremely collaborative
Be hyper-detail oriented and super organized
Be out-of-the-box creative
Be friendly, positive and independent
Take initiative
Have a sense of humor
Enjoy the art of human relationships
Have a passion for live entertainment and performing arts
